What is the ‘Imagine’ campaign?

“Imagine all the people living life in peace…” – In order for this line from John Lennon’s renowned song to come true, we have initiated this campaign with the title “Imagine.”

The ‘Imagine’ campaign started as a response to the threat of the US military strike against Syria in September 2013 when we sent out an Open Letter to Barack Obama with the request to imagine what he would say in his speech to the nation.
This action was so successful that we decided to continue it.

With different images we introduce aspects of the necessary system change – from the system of violence and war to the system of peace, solidarity and love. These images are not arbitrarily invented, they are the results of a long research on the key points of global change. They illustrate what could become the foundation for a coming culture of peace. What has to change and in what direction? What perspectives do we have if the current system reaches its limits and threatens to collapse as it is today? Buckminster Fuller once said that we overcome a system by creating a new one which makes the old one obsolete. These images show elements of a new society of partnership and cooperation that will, with a gentle power, replace the old system. What can be thought can also be done.
Vision is the seed of a new reality. We humans have been given the power of imagination to use it for the good of all. When we see the perspective of a new Earth – Terra Nova – then we gain the strength that we need to step out of the old system for good.
On November 9th, the Global Grace Day, we invite you to create actions and meditations to envision the image of Terra Nova together in as many places as possible.
