Radio Interview with Sabine Lichtenfels (Tamera, Portugal) and Sami Awad (Palestine)
who are currently holding a peace and vision camp in Israel-Palestine

50 Israeli and Palestinian peace workers have set up in the midst of the current fighting.  They are putting their lives on the line in support of a peaceful settlement to the violence exploding  in Israel-Palestine.

Due to the extensive bombing of even schools, mosques, hospitals and private homes people can no longer find protection or shelter. Hatred, fear and anger are at a peak in the whole region.  In this turbulence, peace workers from Israel, Palestine and other countries are holding a five-day vision camp in the Westbank. In the middle of the war they hold a peace vigil and create a frequency of calmness in which mutual perception, sharing, deep listening, clear thinking and vision building is possible. They say, “Together we can give a clear sign to end the war.”

Sabine is founder of the Vision Camp, co-founder of the Peace Research Centre Tamera in Portugal, theologian, and pilgrim in the name of Grace. She initiated the RING OF POWER-A GLOBAL SPIRITUAL NETWORK OF PEACE, a spiritual- political meditation network. Sami Awad is Executive Director of Holy Land Trust.
